Paul Sleaze - The Embalmer
Paul Sleaze - The Embalmer £9-00 (cd only)

The long-awaited successor to Sleaze's incredible Masturbot debut. This album has all his classic hallmarks - disjointed, post-techno, electro filth! Add to this incredible production, and some inspired collaborations with Marconius Baddy, and it's another brilliant album from Sheffield's darkest corner.

Following up last year's incredibly well-received Load Line LP, WNA is back with a new 5 track ep. Coming out of material from recent WNA live sets (including shows with the likes of Lex's Boom Bip), expect stronger beats and hooks, but maintaining the 'elegaic melodies' The Wire referred to when reviewing Load Line.

Collected Dust
Little Gem - Collected Dust. £9-00 (cd only)

With a history of live and studio engineering for the likes of Fila Brazilia, Arctic Monkeys and Gomez, the Little Gem's influences are diverse to say the least. This album documents the instrumental work of Brighton-based singer/songwriter John Ashton, and the epic 'Childhood in the Machine II-IV' manages to display the diversity of LG's styles, crammed into a tidy 17 minutes!

Featuring the 'electro anthem' that is Digital Mirkin, this is Paul Sleaze doing what he does best. This album has all the sick hallmarks of Siolence, but with a hint more idiocy. 'Digital Mirkin' croons about the marvels of a binary-decorated pubis - which pretty much sets the tone for the album.

(lp and cd) Following up March's 'Headstone' single with Paul Sleaze, Winter North Atlantic's debut album is the first LP for GCR. Broken hip-hop and electronics is the key to this LP, fused with some amazing vocal appearances (Xie Yugia and Gemma Mather), and a few surprises.

Rowdy Roddy Peeper
Jeff Danger and Paul Sleaze - Rowdy Roddy Peeper. £4-00

(7" vinyl only) b/w Spies. You know what to expect from them by now. Sleaze and Danger have rummaged around in their wardrobe of masks and flasher macs and come up with this - 2 more sides of electronic perversion. Spies = paranoia, Rowdy Roddy Peeper = speaks for itself. It's going to be as popular as Siolence - no mistake.

Headstone
Paul Sleaze vs Winter North Atlantic - Headstone £2-50

(CD single) This is an interesting meeting of minds. A mutual respect for cheap horror flicks has turned up the audio equivalent of the Japanese classic shit-em-up, "Ring". The single also features solo tracks by Paul Sleaze and Winter North Atlantic from their forthcoming solo albums on GCR.

Hope Springs
Butterflypolite and Arts and Leisure Foundation - Hope Springs. £4-00

(7" vinyl only) b/w Ex Loafer. Beautiful vocal by Sarah Marshall on this single. Great musicianship, and clipped downbeat production by the Foundation. The b-side's heavier - BIG SYSTEMS ONLY! Expect more remixes from the Arts + Leisure gents soon.

Siolence
Jeff Danger, Paul Sleaze feat. Clarence Bollinger - Siolence. £4-00

(7" vinyl only) b/w Hjuman Bjacon. An absolute must for fans of dirty electro. Amazing vocal by Clarence Bollinger on both tracks - think Kitty Yo. This single's had great reviews, and is too catchy for words. Richard X is loving Sleaze and Danger at the minute, this is filth from the dancefloor.

Reelfeelsexrobots
Arts and Leisure Foundation - Reelfeelsexrobots. £4-00

(7" vinyl only) b/w Gateau D'Amour. Bit rougher than Turning Point, but still relaxed. Definite gallic feel to the flip on this, which is nice after being maltreated by the a-side.

Turning Point
Arts and Leisure Foundation - Turning Point. £4-00

(7" vinyl only) b/w Making yourself feel better. The Store records in Sheffield described this as 'oceanic grooves', which sounds nice. Leisurely beats and flute loops make up the a-side, a bit more attention paid to electronic distortion for the flip.
